The process changed about 3 years ago...it's now a collaborative process...


...between the top tier of bowls (8) and the conference. They essentially all get together and "work it out". No one of those 8 bowls has any priority to pick over any others. That collaborative process can't start until we know who the champion is. A bowl that might love to have Pittsburgh might hate to have Wake, or vice versa. Things can't shake out until we have a champion
